2 Men Found Guilty of Murdering Girl, 5
From Times Staff and Wire Reports
Two men were convicted Friday of first-degree murder in the Dec. 21 shooting death of a 5-year-old girl in West Covina.
Alex Guerrero, 25, and John Barco, 45, face possible life imprisonment in the death of Larissa Ware, who was standing near her bedroom window when she was shot once in the chest.
Prosecutors said the shooting stemmed from Barco’s anger over a fight at the girl’s home.
