Nissan Adding Smaller Models to Lift U.S. Sales

Nissan Motor Co., Japan’s second-largest automaker, will add a new hatchback and sedan to its U.S. lineup of cars and trucks to meet demand for fuel-efficient vehicles and boost sales to young buyers.

The Versa, available in five- and four-door variations, will be built at Nissan’s Aguascalientes, Mexico, factory and will go on sale next year.
