New home for Chinese museum

New York City’s Museum of Chinese in the Americas, currently four small rooms that tell the big and sometimes painful story of Asian-American life, is to have a new $6.5-million home.
The new, 12,000-square-foot museum will be designed by architect Maya Lin, who created the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C.
