Betty Ford Has Tests at Hospital
Former First Lady Betty Ford was undergoing routine tests Thursday at Eisenhower Medical Center, a family spokeswoman said.
Ford, 88, has been in good health and there was nothing to be concerned about, spokeswoman Penny Circle said. “She’s been fine. It’s just tests, just an appointment for tests. That’s all there is to it,” Circle said.
Former President Ford, who was hospitalized 12 days in January with pneumonia, was at the couple’s Thunderbird Estates home about a mile from Eisenhower Medical Center.
“He’s here. He’s doing well,” Circle said.
