Vote as a bloc

The April 22 editorial, “The pay’s the thing,” sought ways to check the apparently excessive compensation packages of many CEOs, especially those in companies not doing well. One solution is for stockholders to find a way to bind together and vote their shares as a bloc. In this way, they can stop the “good old boys” on the board of directors from protecting “their own.” We need a way for the small shareholders to communicate with each other.
