Murder Charge Filed in Dismemberment Case

A man who police say confessed to killing and dismembering seven men and burning the bodies in his bedroom fireplace was charged in Drexel with one count of murder.
Michael Lee Shaver Jr., 33, was charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action related to a fall 2001 killing. Police say Shaver confessed after he was arrested following a failed carjacking.
