Execution of triple killer postponed
From Times Wire Reports
Gov. Timothy M. Kaine postponed for 18 months the execution of a man convicted in three slayings to allow more time to review claims that the condemned inmate is retarded and insane. The Supreme Court has ruled it unconstitutional to execute such inmates.
Percy Walton, 28, had been scheduled to die by lethal injection Friday for the 1996 murders.
