Wonderful life for all seasons

Please, stop. Put down the red and white flowers, and step away from the trash can. As holiday flora begin to lose their dazzle, remind yourself that some of these plants can have a bright life long after December. Perhaps it’s a poinsettia or amaryllis you bought to brighten the living room, or a Christmas lily you received from Aunt Alice. Regardless, why let these bits of beauty go to waste?
