From Bloomberg News

Google Inc. started offering films from the U.S. National Archives as part of an effort to expand the content offered on its online video service.

The free clips include World War II newsreels and the Apollo 11 landing on the moon, the Mountain View, Calif., company said. The agreement, which includes a pilot program of 103 films, isn’t exclusive. Google has digitized the films at no cost to the government, a National Archives spokeswoman said.
