American Ohno Is Shooting for Two Additional Medals

U.S. skater Apolo Anton Ohno, who won bronze in the 1,000 meters, will race in both men’s events. Crashes and disqualifications are common in short-track speedskating, and the 500-meter event is particularly unpredictable.

China’s Yang Yang, who won gold in the 500- and 1,000-meter races in 2002, has her last chance to win a medal at Turin in tonight’s race.
