Bush owes explanation
Re “Reports Cite Incursions on U.S. Border,” Jan. 26
I am upset that armed Mexican military personnel are reported to have made 231 incursions into the United States in the last 10 years. I’m even more upset that they have helped drug smugglers fleeing police to escape back across the border. But I am outraged that the Bush administration has apparently done almost nothing about it. I think the president owes it to the American people to explain his lack of action and why he has not done more to secure our borders.
