Rezoning is the issue

Re “Family, Neighbors at Odds Over Sale of Land,” June 27

This article missed the main issue for the hundreds of residents of the affected community in Woodland Hills who support Save Oak Savanna. As a member, I know our focus is rezoning. The developer is trying to change the current R1 zoning, which allows only single-family residences, to zoning that would allow for apartments and condos. We would have no issue with the Nicholson family developing its property as an R1 parcel and would support any appropriate development.
