Disgraced Official’s Name Taken Off Jail

A New York City jail renamed to honor former Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik in 2001 has reverted to its previous name after he pleaded guilty to taking gifts from a construction firm. Workers removed the sign and replaced it with one saying Manhattan Detention Complex.
