Three British former bankers extradited to the United States pleaded not guilty in federal court to fraud charges linked to defunct energy giant Enron Corp.

According to their 2002 indictment, David Bermingham, Giles Darby and Gary Mulgrew, former employees of National Westminster Bank, conspired with former Enron Chief Financial Officer Andrew S. Fastow and his deputy Michael J. Kopper to enrich themselves at their employers’ expense.

The court set the start of their trial for Sept. 11.
