From Times Wire Reports

A letter from Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to German Chancellor Angela Merkel makes statements about Israel and the Holocaust that are “not acceptable,” a government spokesman said.

Ulrich Wilhelm said the letter did not address concerns over Iran’s nuclear program, an issue Germany and other nations are trying to resolve diplomatically.

Instead, “it contains many statements that are not acceptable to us, in particular about Israel, the state of Israel’s right to exist and the Holocaust,” the German spokesman said.
