Record vs. Storm -- 0-2.

Update -- The Sparks have locked up a playoff berth, and are now trying to secure home-court advantage for at least the first round of the playoffs. Also on the agenda: find a way defeat Seattle, which has won the last four meetings involving the teams, including both games this season. Coach Joe Bryant admits the Storm’s speed, in particular wing players Iziane Castro Marques and Betty Lennox, gives the Sparks trouble. “We’ll look to slow things down, walk the ball up more and try and use our size,” Bryant said. The Sparks have one last tough week with four road games in six days. Mwadi Mabika is serving a one-game suspension for hitting San Antonio’s Kendra Wecker in last Wednesday’s 81-67 victory. Detroit ended Seattle’s three-game winning Friday, 77-67.
