Teacher Held in Alleged Attack on Official

Perris Union High School District teacher Bobbie Wright, 60, was arrested Wednesday after allegedly assaulting a district official with a glass vase and a metal chair, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said.
Wright was at the district office to deal with a discipline matter when she became angry and allegedly attacked the official, the department said.
She was taken to the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
