High Court Overturns 9/11-Related Conviction

Spain’s Supreme Court threw out an Al Qaeda suspect’s conviction for conspiracy to commit murder in the Sept. 11 attacks, weeks after prosecutors acknowledged the evidence against him was weak.
The court upheld a separate conviction against Syrian-born Spaniard Imad Eddin Barakat Yarkas for belonging to a terrorist organization.
