Share

Site -- Staples Center.

Radio -- 1150.

Records -- Sparks 10-3, Silver Stars 6-6.

Record vs. Silver Stars -- 1-0.

Update -- The Sparks, with seven consecutive victories after Friday’s 77-63 conquest of defending champion Sacramento, are on their longest winning streak since opening the 2004 season with nine wins. The defense that Coach Joe Bryant envisioned in training camp is rounding into shape. Throw out the league-record 114 Minnesota scored against the Sparks on May 31, and Los Angeles has given up 80 or more points only twice in the last eight games. Lisa Leslie needs only one point to become the first WNBA player to total 5,000. San Antonio, which has lost its last two, including an 87-57 defeat by Seattle Friday, is tied with Connecticut for the league’s best road record (5-2).

Tickets -- (213) 480-3232.
