The News With All His Heart

I prefer that CNN anchor Anderson Cooper give us the news . . . and has a heart (“‘I’ on America,” by Dan Neil, 800 Words, June 4). This guy remains a bright and shining star in the news media, and what bothers Neil about natural, emotional reactions, albeit constrained?

What transfixes the mind is a bit more honesty and vulnerability, which are far too lacking in our national news media.
