Suspect Acquitted in 2002 Karachi Bombing

A Pakistani court acquitted a man suspected of involvement in a 2002 car bombing that killed 14 Pakistanis outside the U.S. Consulate in Karachi, lawyers said.
But Naveedul Hassan will remain in custody until he appears in court Wednesday on charges of involvement in a failed 2002 assassination attempt on President Gen. Pervez Musharraf.
