Toddler Girl’s Hand Is Severed at Candy Factory

An 18-month-old girl’s hand was cut off when it became caught in a conveyor belt at a chocolate factory she was touring with her family in a Mother’s Day event, officials said.
The accident happened at the Menehune Mac Factory Gift Center. She was taken to a hospital, which did not release her condition.
