Death Toll Mounts in Clash of Militias

Twelve people were killed and 32 were wounded in renewed fighting between two militia groups in Somalia, militia sources said.
Ibrahim Maalim, a militia member close to the national security minister, Mohammed Qanyare, said seven people had been killed and 20 wounded in fighting between the Islamic courts’ militia and a warlord alliance in the Sii-Sii area.
In overnight fighting, five people were reported killed and 12 wounded.
