U.S. Critic of Paying Warlords Transferred

A U.S. official handling Somalia issues has been transferred early from his job after criticizing payments to warlords who are said to be fueling heavy fighting in Mogadishu, diplomats said.
Analysts in Nairobi said Michael Zorick, formerly Somalia political affairs officer at the U.S. Embassy in Kenya, was transferred to the embassy in Chad.
