From Times Wire Reports

U.S. intelligence cannot confirm that Al Qaeda in Iraq leader Abu Ayyub Masri, also known as “Al Muhajir” or Sheik Abu Hamza, is the man whose voice was on an audio message, posted Thursday on the Internet, urging the kidnapping of Westerners.

But a technical analysis of the message shows the voice belongs to the same man identified as Masri in a Sept. 7 audio recording, an official said. Confirming the identity is difficult because there is little material available for comparison, officials said.
