Re “County to study plastic bag options,” April 11

As compostable bags do not seem to be the answer for Los Angeles, I suggest that recyclable bags be made reusable -- a bit larger and stronger and available to customers for a price. This should inspire many customers to go to the market with their own bags, plastic, canvas or whatever. This policy should be applied to all stores that give out plastic or paper bags.
