REGARDING Martin Miller’s article on how “The Sopranos” will end [“Will the Guy Catch a Bullet or a Break?” April 1]: He talks about the end of the first two “Godfather” films and then states, “Sorry, ‘Godfather III’ doesn’t count.”

Doesn’t count? So Michael Corleone losing a child and dying alone doesn’t count.

Is this the same film that three L.A. Times critics listed as one of their Top 10 films of 1990?

Is this the same “Godfather III” that was nominated for seven Academy Awards including best picture and best director?

SOMEONE should bring this up: I’m sure the final episodes will be entertaining but, before we kiss their rings, prostrate ourselves or thank them for finally honoring us with their presence again on HBO, let’s not forget the cast has left fans high and dry for -- how long has it been? -- almost a year since the last new episode.

The series was great, but Tony and the crew thought the entertainment grass was greener elsewhere.

So just who is dedicated to whom?
