Casting news: Two-time Academy Award nominee Edward Norton will play Bruce Banner, the scientist with anger management issues, in a new movie version of “The Incredible Hulk” that is due out in 2008, Marvel Entertainment said Monday. Louis Leterrier will direct.

Long set: The Laugh Factory says Dave Chappelle set a new record at the Hollywood comedy club Sunday night by performing for six hours and seven minutes -- breaking the previous record of three hours and 50 minutes that Dane Cook had set just five nights earlier. You had to be a night owl to enjoy it, however: Chappelle didn’t go on until 10:36 p.m.

Rebuilding: Barry Gibb, the former Bee Gee who bought the lakeside house in Hendersonville, Tenn., that Johnny Cash and his wife, June Carter Cash, lived in for decades before their deaths in 2003, said Monday he plans to build a new home near where the house stood before burning down last week.

The original foundation of the Cash home will be preserved, he said.
