Tornado kills 6, injures many more
From Times Wire Reports
Six people were killed when severe storms spawned a tornado that swept across unincorporated areas of Maverick County, officials said.
An unknown number of people were injured, stretching the resources of the hospital in Eagle Pass, local Fire Chief Roy de la Cruz said. He said the six people killed were reportedly in one home.
“We’re still getting more and more people into the hospital, so I would think a sizable amount of injuries,” De la Cruz said.
