Bin Laden role in base blast alleged

A top Taliban commander said Osama bin Laden planned the February attack outside a U.S. military base in Afghanistan during a visit by Vice President Dick Cheney, according to an interview shown by the satellite television channel Al Jazeera.
White House spokeswoman Dana Perino said she had not “seen any intelligence that would support that.”
Mullah Dadullah, the Taliban’s main military commander in southern Afghanistan, did not give a source for the information, and it was unclear when the interview took place.
