MacCready’s car

The obituary of Paul B. MacCready (Aug. 30) omitted what was possibly his most important achievement: the EV1, the most magnificent car not on the road today. General Motors crushed them all back in 2005, but MacCready was the inspiration for and the brains behind that vehicle.
