Ford settlement: A Nov. 29 article in the Business section about the settlement of class-action lawsuits involving the Ford Explorer reported that the settlements end all the outstanding rollover-related lawsuits against the automotive company. They do not end pending personal injury and wrongful-death suits involving the Explorer, plaintiffs’ attorneys and Ford Motor Co. said. The settlements end the class-action lawsuits brought by Explorer owners who said their vehicles had lost value because of their perceived danger.
