Imus’ return: Controversial talk show host Don Imus, who returned to the radio airwaves in New York on Monday, will get a Southland outlet starting next week. His show will air 3 to 5 a.m. weekdays on KABC-AM (790).

Opera seats: All seats for the Dec. 16 performance of L.A. Opera’s “La Boheme” will be sold for $20, the company announced Tuesday. Tickets for the 8 p.m. show at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion go on sale Thursday, with a limit of four per customer.

Dobbs expands: CNN anchor Lou Dobbs, whose denunciations of illegal immigration have garnered him an ardent following, will host a syndicated daily radio show beginning in March, with the station lineup still to be determined.

New play: “The Injured Party,” a new play by Tony Award-winning playwright Richard Greenberg (“Take Me Out”), will receive its world premiere at South Coast Repertory in Costa Mesa during the 11th annual Pacific Playwrights Festival, running April 25 through May 11.
