From Times Wire Reports

A landslide in an area hit hard by last week’s storms slammed into four homes and covered a highway northwest of Portland. No injuries were reported.

The slide of mud, trees and debris covered five acres and pushed one home onto U.S. Highway 30 near Clatskanie, said Chris Friend of the state forestry department.

One woman living above the slide was stranded in her home when her driveway was wiped out by the mud. She was not in danger, officials said.
