Free performance: Los Angeles Opera will present a one-hour, fully staged performance of Handel’s oratorio “Judas Maccabaeus” on Jan. 26 at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in downtown Los Angeles. Music director James Conlon will conduct the 7:30 p.m. performance. Admission is free but advance tickets are required.
