From Times Wire Reports

Nearly two weeks after two sisters were gunned down while leaving services at New Life Church, about 2,500 people gathered in Colorado Springs to remember what Stephanie and Rachel Works shared, including a love of travel, fostering deep friendships and their strong faith.

The Rev. Brady Boyd said the sisters, who went on mission trips to Brazil, China and Mexico, lived passionately and didn’t take anything for granted. He reminded church members that Stephanie and Rachel were now in their true home.

Matthew Murray, 24, opened fire on the hundreds of churchgoers streaming out of the Dec. 9 service. Murray killed himself after being shot by a guard.
