I truly enjoyed Mike Boehm’s “Christmas Jews” piece [“For Christmas Jews, Wherever You Are,” Dec. 23] in which he described his own experiences as a “Christmas Jew.”

If he doesn’t still have time to do one on the “Chanukah Boehm,” please think about it for next year!

L’Shana Tovah [Happy New Year].

MY husband and I aren’t Jewish but attended public schools in Chicago in the ‘40s and ‘50s, and they always had us sing Christian songs. Of course, we thought nothing of it, but our consciousness was raised later -- what about all those kids who weren’t Christian?
