GM is still working on fourth-quarter results

No date has been set for releasing General Motors Corp.’s delayed financial results, the company said. GM said Jan. 25 that it would delay the report because it had to restate financial results. The results had been set for Jan. 30.

GM also said when it disclosed the delay that it would announce record fourth-quarter revenue and a profit. The Detroit-based company said the restatements, covering 2002 through last year’s third quarter, involved deferred tax liabilities, hedging and other items.
