Regarding “Probe of Broadcom options may scrutinize company founders” (Jan. 18):

Although it is fair game to write about the colorful characters of the business world, it degrades the reputation of The Times when readers come upon the sorry details of a child custody battle when reading an article about backdating stock options.

To be redundant, I thought it was tasteless.
