Irresponsible role?

I’M a fan of current Mexican cinema and of Gael Garcia Bernal’s work, but his role in “Y Tu Mama Tambien” and his real-life commitment to AIDS prevention awareness are completely contradictory [“A Leading Man of the World,” Dec. 31]. The movie depicted many sex scenes, including the menage a trois scene at the end, which demonstrated extremely risky behavior for AIDS. I wish young actors would choose socially responsible movie roles.
