Rebel chief sought on drug charges

U.S. and Haitian anti-drug agents tried to arrest on narcotics charges a leader of the 2004 rebellion that ousted President Jean-Bertrand Aristide, police officials said.
U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration agents and Haitian police raided the home of former army officer Guy Philippe near the southern town of Les Cayes, said Henriot Toussaint, police chief for the southern region.
