ESPN to buy cricket website

Walt Disney Co.’s sports network ESPN is buying Cricinfo.com, the world’s largest specialist cricket website, as it expands beyond its traditional strengths of American football, basketball and NASCAR.
ESPN said it was buying the website from British publishing company Wisden Group for an undisclosed amount.
Cric-info.com was founded in 1993 and has more than 7 million users each month on Internet and mobile applications.
