Runner will stick with a classic

Share

I appreciate your informative functional analysis of the running shoes [“Gear,” June 18]. However, I wish to question the manufacturers’ aesthetic decisions based on most of the running shoes they produce.

It is true that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but there are many of us who are reluctant to run or walk as if we were dressed like a clown or dragging two road-kills.

For those of us who care, the only athletic shoes we wear are the K-Swiss Classic.
