2 unfinished tunnels found near border

Two unfinished tunnels have been found near the U.S.-Mexico border crossing here, U.S. officials announced Thursday. Each was about 3 feet wide and 5 feet high.
“If passages like these go undetected, they pose a potential threat to our nation’s security,” said Michael Carney, acting special agent in charge of the San Diego office for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
