Farmer Bros. buys drink maker

Institutional coffee roaster Farmer Bros. Co. said it acquired beverage maker Coffee Bean International.
Torrance-based Farmer Bros. paid about $22 million in cash under a stock purchase agreement with Portland, Ore.-based Coffee Bean’s parent company, Coffee Bean Holding Co.
