Robbers glue man to exercise bike
Armed robbers forced a South African man to strip and then glued him to his exercise bike and sealed his lips before ransacking his house, a published report said.
Kobus van Deventer, 50, was stuck to the bike for three hours before he was rescued by his girlfriend, the South African Press Assn. reported.
Van Deventer was carjacked Wednesday in Johannesburg’s northern suburbs, it said. He “was ‘Super-Glued’ to the seat of an exercise bicycle, his hands were ‘Super-Glued,’ as were his feet, and then his mouth was ‘Super-Glued’ shut,” an emergency services spokesman said.
