A Swedish military officer is suspected of leaking classified information about NATO’s peacekeeping operations in Kosovo to an alleged Serbian spy she was dating, Sweden’s armed forces said.
The woman, who was not identified, allegedly sent e-mails to the Serb, a man identified only as Z, who worked as an interpreter for the United Nations in Kosovo, the military said.
The alleged spy was questioned but later disappeared, the military said. It was unclear for whom he worked.
