All politics, all the time
Just in case the Internet didn’t already satisfy their needs, political junkies got word Monday of another place to get a fix at any hour. XM Satellite Radio said it planned to launch a 24-hour, commercial-free channel dedicated to the 2008 presidential campaign.
The channel, created in partnership with C-SPAN, will launch in September and continue through the election in November 2008.
Programming will include candidate interviews and speeches, debate coverage, news updates on polls and fundraising, and live call-in shows. The channel also will offer free airtime to the candidates.
