U.N. court probes alleged war crimes

The International Criminal Court is investigating allegations of mass rape and other war crimes in the Central African Republic, the prosecutor for the U.N. panel of judges said.

The Hague-based court will focus on crimes alleged to have been committed in 2002 and 2003, Prosecutor Luis Moreno-Ocampo said.
