Qualcomm invests in mobile banking

Qualcomm Inc. agreed to buy Firethorn Holdings for about $210 million in cash to expand in mobile-banking software.
Firethorn’s product enables consumers to use their mobile phones to view account balances and history, pay bills and transfer funds, San Diego-based Qualcomm said.
